Phil Up Eatery is a local restaurant, that prides itself in its’ home style Filipino cuisine. It began with a simple dream from the Owner and Head Chef, Rudy Del Rosario, who was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. At an early age, Rudy was taught by his mother, who inspired him to own his own restaurant one day. He has always had a passion for food, and believes that when he cooks, it’s for the people.

He began his culinary journey with catering jobs around the Edmonton area with his friends and his wife, and Co-Owner, Amy Del Rosario. After having their two kids, they decided to settle down a bit and continue a journey away from catering. However, Rudy’s passion for cooking and food did not end there. He continued to host birthday parties and holiday events at his own home, creating his own style of Filipino cuisine. Every culinary creation of his showcases his skill, passion, and experience with food.

As a family owned restaurant, Phil Up Eatery prides itself on tasty food, wonderful customer service, and an over-all good time. Their goal is to live the dream and bring a taste of home from their family to yours.
