PNB Remittance Centers, Inc.

PNB Remittance Centers, Inc. (PNB RCI) was incorporated on October 19, 1990 under its former name, Century Finance and Remittance Centers, Inc. (CFRCI). The California Department of Financial Institutions licensed the Company as a transmitter of money abroad in May 1991. PNB RCI is licensed in the following states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Louisiana, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Michigan, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Florida, Washington State, Oregon and Alaska, Hawaii, and North Carolina. PNB RCI is also authorized to receive remittances from New Mexico, South Carolina, and Montana. PNB RCI is a subsidiary of PNB International Investments Corporation, which is wholly owned by the Philippine National Bank in Manila, Philippines.

PNB RCI began its operations in National City (in San Diego) in September, 1991 followed by Chicago, Illinois, in February 1992 and the simultanous openings of West Covina and Union City branches in March 1992. Jersey City in New Jersey, San Jose and Carson branches opened for business that same year.

PNB RCI currently has 19 branches operating to serve clients with their remittance needs. 87 authorized agents. PNB RCI has also introduced a new service, Phone Remittance, where remitters simply call a toll free number, (855) 889-7788, provide remittance instructions and their bank account details. PNB RCI debits the remitter’s account for the amount of their remittance.
