In 1992, it was converted into a family-owned resort upon the discovery of its exquisite and tropical beauty. On the same year, the resplendent blue waters cradling Pearl Farm Beach Resort has been declared a marine sanctuary to protect it from the ravages of dynamite fishing. Remarkable coral formations and marine life in the area has since then been preserved.
Instilled in Pearl Farm Beach Resort’s mission is the upliftment and promotion of the culture, arts, and skills of Mindanaoan native tribes. To be able to be one with its cultural roots demonstrated in its architecture, food, products — and even people — the resort finds its lifeblood.
Pearl Farm Beach Resort was also built by Mañosa through the inspirations of the local houses of Mindanaoan tribes. In 1996, his work for Pearl Farm Beach Resort has hailed it as the “Most Beautiful Resort on Earth” by the Architectural Digest. Up to date, the resort continues to be a testament of imagination and innovation under Mañosa’s firm.
