Manila Stix BBQ and Grill is not new to the food business. We have been satisfying Filipino taste buds since 2001. The original store was situated in the native land of the Philippines in Las Pinas City ran by a young, fresh out of college entrepreneur. Like any other person trying to start a business, she tried selling packaged meat but was not successful. She then created her own marinade for the packaged meat and a new Filipino barbecue “take-out” store was born. She had named it after herself “Lilay’s Grill” which was ​her mother’s nickname for her when she was little. Since then, her BBQ sticks were a hit and the rest is history.

Fate brought Lilay to the United States in 2005 and had to make the biggest decision of her life. After all, they say there’s greener pasteur in America. She met a businessman – entrepreneur and they are now married for 8 years and have 2 sons.
Like most, she had worked for other people… but something was missing.
It only took a sign, a DREAM to make this old idea back into REALITY again.
With the help of our dear Lord God, family and friends, Manila Stix BBQ and Grill is now working hard to bring the best Filipino food to the hearts of Clay and Duval counties and the rest of Florida.

We have a Mobile Food cart to serve our hearty meals wherever you are.
