Licelle Cobrador is admitted to practice law in New York State and the Philippines. She specializes in commercial litigation, immigration, and intellectual property. She also has substantial experience in federal litigation. Aside from litigating matters before the U.S. Federal District Courts and Circuit Courts, she represents clients on issues related to the Philippines and the U.S. as a part of her cross-border transactions practice. She worked as an associate at Rodrigo Berenguer & Guno, a leading Philippine law firm. Ms. Cobrador also worked for the Philippine Congress and the Department of Justice in Manila. She taught at the University of the Philippines, Manila, lecturing on conflict of laws, foreign policy and the judiciary.
Ms. Cobrador has a masters of laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property. She was a Dean’s Merit Scholar at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She received her J.D. from the Ateneo de Manila University and her bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines.
