PNB Remittance Centers Inc. opens its new door in Los Angeles, CA

PNB RCI held a ribbon cutting ceremony last April 10, 2015 — the grand opening of the new branch located at the Equitable Plaza Building, Los Angeles, CA. More than 120 people attended the joyous occasion. Honorable Consul General Leo Herrera-Lim, business owners, community leaders and customers participated in the ceremony as well.

 

April 10, 2015. The Philippine National Bank Remittance Centers Inc. (PNBRCI) recently celebrated the opening of its new branch located in the Equitable Plaza building central business district of Los Angeles, CA. It was a huge crowd attended by important figures in the Filipino community, respected Filipino business owners, active community leaders, and bank customers.

Honorable Consul General of Los Angeles Leo M. Herrera-Lim spearheaded the ribbon-cutting ceremony together with PNBRCI  President and CEO Ricky Villacisneros , Global Filipino Business Group Head  Benjie Oliva along with business partners Andy Uy, President of XYZ Express Cargo, and Juan P. Francisco III, Business Development Head of Mango Tours Inc.

PNB is one of the biggest companies in the Philippines and is the only bank fully licensed in the United States. It is a pioneer in the remittance industry with more than 130 centers in the United States and present in various countries around the globe.

“We are proud that PNB breaks ground and opened its doors to the people of Los Angeles and to the community. It is a sign that there is progress both in our country and in our community “ stated Consul General Herrera-Lim.

President and CEO Mr. Ricky Villacisneros  affirmed that “The opening of the PNBRCI new location will be closer to our Filipino community so we can better serve our kababayans in a more convenient way.” He shared his joy and gratitude on this latest accomplishment together with PNBRCI team and partners. He added that PNB willcontinue to expand throughout the country to offer top-quality products and services to the Filipinos.

The new remittance center will serve mainly overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), Fil-Americans, Filipino entrepreneurs, and kababayans by providing them a full suite of services. In addition to remittance services, the branch also provides other services including document authentication of Philippine-based bank accounts. Customers may also book their travel plans in the branch through Mango Tours; send packages and balikbayan boxes through XYZ Express Cargo.
