Here in manila girl, we hope to dispel the apprehension of trying something “new or exotic” by re-imagining traditional filipino “putahe” or dishes into something approachable and familiar; and serve it in an interactive fashion among diners as well as cook. Our menu will feature familiar dishes such as “humba” braised pork ribs, famous pulled chicken adobo , our delectable lechon kawali (baked- fried pork belly), beef, pork or goat stews; such as caldereta, mechado, afritada, and menudo, but maintaining the filipino palate in flavor and spice.
