Welcome to The Buffalo Tavern! Located on South Main near Crapo Park in Burlington,Iowa, The Buff is one of the community’s oldest neighborhood bars! The Buffalo was built in 1900 and has always been a hotspot in town. Whether you are looking for a few Drinks and Appetizers with friends, one of our BigAss Tenderloins, a Steak Dinner, some Live Entertainment, MMA Pay-PerViews, your Favorite Sports, or to hold a Party with Friends, The Buff has what you need!
We offer a full selection of all of your favorite drinks! We have a selection of over 30 different beers. We have Domestics, Craft, Imports, and more. We also feature over 100 different Spirits, and our Bartenders and Servers are more than happy to help you find something to enjoy.
The Buff serves lunch Monday-Thursday from 11am-2pm and Dinner from 5-10pm. Our Kitchen is open all day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11am-10pm! We have daily features including BigAss Taco Monday, BigAss Tenderloin Wednesdays, Steak Nights on Friday & Saturday, plus more! Our tacos are homemade and a favorite to many! We cut our 9oz pork tenderloins, tenderize them, soak them in buttermilk and then bread them with our own special seasoning before we deep fry them! Steak Night is a can’t miss! We cut and trim our own USDA Choice steaks in-house! Whether it’s one of our 14oz Cowboy Ribeyes, a Bleu Cheese topped New York Strip or a marinated Sirloin, you will leave a happy patron!
We also offer Local Business Lunch Delivery to all businesses in the Burlington, West Burlington, and beyond. Please call to set up your lunch delivery or small catered party! Contact us for info on booking our Backroom for you next family dinner, birthday party, business luncheon, or anything else! You can order from the menu or create your own! We are very flexible and have several different chefs with different culinary backgrounds who can design any menu you would like! We like to make everything an option for your private party.
The Buffalo is proudly owned and operated by Chase and Jennifer Gibb who reside in Burlington with their two children, Hudson and Kya. We have a small staff at The Buff who take pride in their work and can’t wait to see you!
